From the Editor: November 2005
Ever wanted to be a boating journalist? Testing the latest craft, getting your hands on the best new gear, sharing your experience with motorboaters all over the UK and Europe - looks like fun, doesn't it?

Now, this is normally the bit where I bleat on about how it's hard work too, and it's not all playing around on the water. But not this time. Instead, I'd like to introduce you to the MBM Skippers Club. If you've got an email address and a passion for boating, you can be part of the MBM team.

From January's issue, we'll be contacting the Skippers Club every month to let you know we're up to, and to invite you to contribute. You could join us on some of our boat tests, try out the latest gear, or pass on your thoughts on the
subjects we'll be writing about. And we'll reward the best contributions with cash and prizes!

Joining the Skippers Club is simple: just send an email to me at simon_collis@ipcmedia.com, with 'Skippers Club' in the subject line. In the email, just put your name, the make and model of boat you own, and the area of the country in which you live.

Of course, we'll still have the same team of experts here writing reports and answering your queries. But if you fancy sharing your thoughts with
motorboaters everywhere, join the club!
