Team GBR Morning briefing

Tuesday 17 August

After a very windy, blustery Monday Tuesday is forecast to be slightly more sedate but no less exciting. Theyr's chart shows the strong north to north easterly Meltemi wind retreating towards Turkey and away from Greece.

This dry and warm wind has cleared away the layer of haze which often surrounds Athens, to leave beautiful clear visibility which will continue during Tuesday.

Temperatures are cooler than during sea breeze conditions. Maximum temperatures forecast to remain below 30 degrees, around 28 or 29 degrees Celsius.
