Ocean fund raiser

A lung-cancer sufferer has sailed across the Atlantic single-handed to raise money for charity.

Yacht broker Nick Baker, 46, from Hampshire sailed 2,800 miles in his Bowman 48 from the Canaries to Antigua taking 20 days.

Nick has set up The Aqualung Trust and is raising funds through his voyage to be divided equally between four different charities: The Institute of Cancer Research, Magpie Cancer Centre Campaign, Merlin, and Encompass. A diary of his voyage can be read online at www.aqualungtrust.org.
