Human dynamo Jason Lewis, 40, has spent 13 years using just his own body power to get around the world. He has canoed, walked, skated, swum, cycled and even used a pedalo during his journey around the globe and now faces one of the most dangerous legs: paddling his canoe across the English Channel.
His 46,000 mile journey included crossing the Pacific and Atlantic oceans. He will be met at Greenwich on the prime meridian line - where he started in 1994 - by his parents and two sisters.
Having run up £20,000 of debts he broke off the journey to work as variously an embalmer, and cattle rancher in Australia.
