Sarah Fraser, Yoyo Schepers and Miranda Knowles will be the only all girl team competing in the forthcoming Round Britain powerboat race that starts off Portsmouth on June 21.
Sarah Fraser, who trained as a Naval Architect, is currently working in the Superyacht Industry. Holding a Yachtmaster Offshore Power and Sail she is a keen yachtswoman.
Yoyo Schepers climbed Mount Kilimanjaro last year and currently racing to the North Pole in the Polar Challenge while Miranda Knowles, another experienced yachtswoman, has completed six transatlantic crossings. All from Lymington, Hampshire, the girls have ten children between them.
The formidable trio will be driving an 8.5m Cobra Rib powered by twin Yamaha 225hp outboards sponsored by Dubois Naval Architects
The team, which will be supporting CLIC Sargent - a charity helping families with children having cancer - hope to raise significant funds.
