Golding to fire starting signal on HMS Argyll

Mike Golding will officially start The Artemis Transat from onboard the Royal Navy's HMS Argyll on 11th May at 2.00pm. Mike won the 2004 edition of the race in the IMOCA 60 class, and was due to compete in this year's race, but has been forced to withdraw due to keel problems.

The Royal Navy are providing HMS Argyll, a Type 23 Frigate, as the start boat. HMS Argyll is the third ship in the Royal Navy to bear the name and the third ship of the Type 23 'Duke' class frigates.
