MTB 102 sighting at Shepperton
Imagine their surprise when the crews of Jeverek and Lady Greybrooke from Walton Bridge Cruiser Club came face to face with this Second World War torpedo at Shepperton Lock. The MTB 102 was the fastest serving wartime British naval vessel, travelling at speeds of up to 48 knots, though thankfully, on this occasion it was travelling at a more modest speed.
