Falmouth Marine School boat auction
Falmouth Marine School will hold its first boat auction on 14 June in Events Square in Falmouth.
A range of boats built or restored by students on boatbuilding courses will be under the hammer. The boats on sale are constructed in wood or GRP and include three 21ft (6.4m) traditional Cornish luggers. The boats will be on view in Events Square from Wednesday 11 June, giving prospective buyers ample time for inspection.
The auction, which is supported by Bonhams and the National Maritime Museum Cornwall, will take place at 2pm. It will be a bidding auction and anyone interested can register from 10am on the day of the sale. The total value of the boats to be auctioned is in the region of £30,000.
