Ever wondered what goes into building the Southampton Boat Show? Watch the time lapse video below to see the transformation of Mayflower Park ahead of the start on Friday!
Starting on Friday (16 September 2016), the Southampton Boat Show is the UK’s largest on-water show.
Held at the Mayflower Park, the show will see debuts from boating giants like Sunseeker and Princess Yachts to the unveiling of classics from Spirit Yachts, Beneteau, Jeanneau and Fairline Yachts.
This year’s show has a new layout, following unprecedented demand from exhibitors.
Ocean Hall and Windward Hall will be merged with an additional 550 square metres of space added to create a new look Ocean Hall for 2016.
Enhancements to the layout will also see Beneteau and Jeanneau move from their historical space on the land to a much bigger display on the marina.
Now in its 48th year, the Southampton Boat Show will run 16-25 September 2016.
The 10-day event will showcase thousands of boats, brands and equipment and will feature the very latest world launches from powerboats to sail.
