Boat Details

This Farr 42 IRC racer was built in Australia and designed specifically for the Owners sailing campaign for regular inshore and offshore series. It proved to be very successful. Currently this boat is looking for a new owner and is available at a GREAT PRICE.

Major refit completed in the winter of 2017/18 including new IRC optimised keel, new sail inventory and full optimization for IRC rating.

Construction

Hull, deck and interior grid construction is in E-glass sandwich.  The keel is a tapered deep fin of cast iron and lead to give the boat a low centre of gravity. This also allows the rig and interior to be positioned to suit the hull centre of buoyancy preferences and produces a relatively simple structural solution.
