Boat Details

Tuula of Hamble is one of the last 33s to be built in 1995 and is in remarkable condition. Built for the Southampton Boat show of the same year she has been in the care of just three very careful owners and well maintained throughout her life.

Nauticats are renowned for their sea worthiness and beautiful lines, for a 33ft boat the space on deck and inside is incredible. Offering the best of both worlds in terms of sail and motoring she definetely has a foot in both camps providing excellent sailing ability and a powerful 90HP Yanmar engine with twin 300Ltr fuel tanks so she is capable of some serious ocean sailing if needs be.

I have found using Tuula in coastal waters around the south coast of England very rewarding keeping myself and young family safe with her high rails, stout presence and powerful engine proving more than capable in all conditions we have encountered (we've been in a few)!  Her long shallow keel drawing just 1.25m has allowed us to explore rivers and creeks and get close in to the beach to drop the hook for some great days spent at anchor.

When the weather closes in the wheelhouse is cosy and warm. Either underway or at berth it proves to be a secure and snug place to be whilst offering a 360 degree view of the outside world.

She is a true all round family boat offering safety, shelter and loads of fun.

Tuula is full of extra's in terms of electronics, deck equipment, entertainment and rig. I have made a dedicated website to try and show prospective buyers her real virtues. www.motorsailer.co.uk

This is a very relluctant sale, recent developments in my business have dictated that I will have far less free time for the next year to 18months so I have decided to let her go and take a break from yachting for a while.

If you are in any way interested please feel free to drop me a line or call.

Navigation Systems

New A series touchscreen Raymarine GPS Chartplotter. This has a CHIRPS

down vision sonar. (Transducer included but needs fitting next time she’s on the hard) Above can be linked via its own WiFi to any android or apple device for outside helm position. Included will be Rok brackets for this. (I use iPad Air with ‘Lifeproof’ waterproof case, can include by negotiation). The iPad acts as a back up GPS Chartplotter as it it is the SIM version and has a fully functional GPS receiver independent of phone signal and / or internet connection.
