Boat Details

We bought Gemelle for a big family adventure this summer (2017). After a major refit our family of four took her South through the French Canals to the Med.

You can read about our adventure here: https://blog.tobybudd.co.uk

And I have also written two articles for Motor Boats and Yachting, one on the refit and one on the trip (out this winter).

She is a great boat, sad to see her go.

Here is the info:

The boat had a major refit this year and is presented in very good condition for her age. Anyone looking to use her for a trip or as a liveaboard can step onboard and leave straight away without any significant works.

Included in the price we are happy to include a weeks handover and training in France. After the sale, I can also deliver back to the UK for the cost of the fuel.

Works completed this year include:

  • Engine service inc new impellers and oils
  • Old antifoul stripped, hull sanded and then primed and re antifouled
  • New anodes, props checked, p-brackets and rudders without significant play
  • Interior refit including headlines, curtains, upholstery
  • Rear heads converted into child birth
  • Gas alarm and solenoid fitted with certificate
  • Pilothouse roof stripped, repaired and made good
  • New sliding sunroof
  • New inverter
  • New battery charger
  • All forward windows removed, re-sealed and re-fitted
