Just back from the sail past at the Upper Thames Motor YC at Sonning. Lovely day, excellent grub and loads of it, saw Chris (Pheran) with a glass jammed into his fist (what's new).
Frankly I didn't really want to go but felt I had to. I'm glad now I went because even the drink was free.

Me too!! Shame I was driving, SWMBO had champage on three different boats before she even made the clubhouse.

If I'm ever unfortunate enough to lose an arm and have to have a prosthesis, I'm going to have one fitted with a whisky glass rather than a hook. A bit less nautical perhaps but a damn sight more convenient! Super day on the river - even Byron scrubbed up half reasonably. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

No, we were guests on Pretty B with Linda and Clive.

Will plan it better next year and bring the boat.
