Selling Privately or through Broker

We are moving to the US next year and want to sell our Sealine 360 Ambassador. Advise on if we should try to sell privately or through a broker would be appreciated.

I would certainly try privately to start with, could save you the 8% broker fee although be prepared for the usual time wasters. Boats and yachts for sale has worked for me on at least two occasions. Another time a simple home made sign on the boat also worked. Good luck.

That reminds me of a time I went with a mate of mine to see a boat he wanted to buy. He opened the toilet lid and the stench was so bad that we had to leave. Needless to say he and his wife bought a different boat!
