I'm looking for a book or books that tell the story of power-boat racing from the early years through to the present day. I would be grateful for any suggestions please? Thanks in advance,

I don't think such a book exists! A pity.

There's Sonny Levi's "From Dhows to Deltas" which is about the boats he has designed over the years, and Motor Boat and Yachting had a series of articles celebrating their hundredth anniversary, which covered the history of motorboating, and they also did a fascinating series on the early years of the Cowes to Torquay races, which gave a flavour of how it was in the 60's.

But what you're looking for doesn't exist, I fear. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif Please let me know if you find something.

'The Club on the Park' is an interesting little book - a history of the Lowestoft & Oulton Broad Motor Boat Club. Very local stuff...... if you like that sort of thing. Old Frank
