If anybody should chance by a copy of this book I would very much appreciate them contacting me.

I don't have that but I do have "The Ship Would Not Travel Due West" by David Lewis. It's about singlehanding a Vertue across the Atlantic in the 1960 race.
Would that interest you?

Many thanks for your kind offer.

I already have that excellent book along with 'Sailing into Solitude' Val Howells story of the same event. I also have Barton's Vertue XXXV.

Please keep looking in the dusty bookshops!!

I have copies of both the 1973 and 1976 editions of this book. There are several significant differences between the editions. Mine are both signed by Peter Woolass and in fair condition. I do not wish to sell them, but you are welcome to read them if you wish. I also have a copy of 'Stelda, George and I', the story of his single handed crossing of the Atlantic in 1969.
