Self-steering gear

Can anybody point me in the direction of some simple plans for a self-build servo-pendulum steering gear suitable for a 27 ft, 5 ton, tiller steered sloop? Ta.

It's published in New Zealand and is available in most nautical bookshops.

Try Fay Marine. (can't remember the web address-sorry) The have plans for a home-knitted windvane.
