What is a reasonable measure when you pour it after a good days boating?

My preference to enjoy the end of the day (sundowner) is +/- 1 1/2" of rum add ice and add equivalent total volume with mixer. Ginger in my case.

Refill as appropriate.

But make sure they are well spaced out!

That's all right but my ships decanter and glasses are extra wide based and two, spaced or not, fingers or 1 1/2 inches take a quarter of a bottle. With for of us round the table we'd soon run out!!!!!

I prefer a pint of Cornish Rebellion or Trelawny's Pride in a straight glass pulled from a proper beer engine - none of your gaseous stuff for me.

Simple solution is Bigger bottle or more bottles!
