Hi Everyone
Been reading the forum for a little, it appears that you guys enjoy a bit of a laugh and more than a bit of P*@? taking.
Keep an eye out for us around the area, we are based in Fambridge and tramp up and down the crouch on a regular basis. or call into West Wick YC can often be found making sure that the bar is well secured to the floor, normally its ok with up to six of us using it for stability.
Will be heading to Chatam with the tide on Sat morning bacon sarnies in hand give us a wave.
Nev
Hi Nev and welcome to the East coast forum , far as I know just about everyone in here has a good sense of humour , albeit a tad dry at times , but I don't think you'll find anyone here objectionable , although there's still a few I have to meet so don't quote me on that /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Hi Nev,
Welcome to this madhouse!
Sadly you'll miss us all Saturday morning, even with a bacon sarnie in your hand, as we'll all be off to Oostende..... and after Duvel tasting, I doubt we'd be that interested in Bacon anyway... /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
See you out and about!

Give us a wave, we are normally on the fairway side moorings near Fairway 5 buoy on the Royal Corinthian buoys.
As Neil said, we are heading toward Ostend on Friday morning, may see you back in the Crouch on Monday.
Should have the dodgers back on by then!
Jim
The dodgers will most likely be upside down if they are fitted after Duvel time /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Hope the trip to the flat lands prove as entertaining as your all hoping for, never had the pleasure of the amber nector you all seem to crave and love. hope the upside down dodgers are not a sign of how you expect to be feeling on the return leg. Be safe and have fun
Nev
Land doesn't get much flatter than here in Lincolnshire /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif I've only been out once so a crossing to Ostend is quite an adventure for me , looking forward to it , and a taste of the brew the others know about /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif

Hi Guys
Hope you all made your home bound tips safely we set out from chatham 0800 Sat great sunshine though the ENE F2/3 didnt help our early passage. the forecast of patchy fog was a bit of a worry and as it would have it we managed to find a patch that seemed to be 20 SQ miles and where in it for four hours up the west swin and the crouch approach. Ridge PHB was the first mark we saw in the four hours dispite passing quite close to a few.
An additional little gem to make the passage just a little more exciting the lap top I use for plotting decided that sail was not for it and stopped working. massive hunt for a pencil and a sharpener then proceeded to make lots of strange marks and line all over a perfectly good chart.
Passed by RCYC about 2015 think it was FC tied up but as it was LW springs decided to push for home managed to get onto the hammer head at fambridge at 2106 straight to the pub and some of the black stuff and two fingers of brandy. a good job well done.
FC maybe another day we can share a beer and talk some bo$*@cks
BTW west wick yacht club having a Regatta day 30-6-07 at fambridge with BBQ in the evening if anyone is interested in popping by
£5.00 Burger, sausages
£6.00 Chicken, sausages
£7.00 Stake, sausages
with as much salad as you can eat
Cheers
