Mainsail reefing

Has anyone got actual experience of the "Easyreef / maxiroach" mainsail reefing system. I am contemplating retrofitting this to my Beneteau 44 and would appreciate views on the system - ease of use, reliability, quality etc.

Lots of people are going long distance with this type of reefing but remember 2 things: make sure your batten pockets can open at the bottom so you can replace a damaged batten at sea and make sure the stability won't be too badly affected by the extra weight aloft.
