Greece and VAT

I would appreciate advice about importing a yacht from Turkey into Greece, where I intend to leave it. Yacht is currently stuck in Kos awaiting Greek assessment of value. Rod Heikle in the Greek waters Pilot states that VAT for older boats is 3%. Ant recent evidence that this is the case? Also can I challenge the Greek valuation, and how. HELP

Sorry I can't help you in this matter, as I am in the same position as you. If you do have any info re the vat situation I would be interested to read whay you have.
