as the boat jumble site seems capput does anyone know of any other sites for buying second hand bits
ive done a search but can only pull up us sites
im after things like a wind generater & also a
autohelm & sextant
any ideas appreciated

dont think a sextant will be easy to pick up as people seem to know the value of them now - also, be VERY careful on the optics as you only have one set of eyes.

You are best buying a used example from a reputable dealer who is prepared to stand behind his merchandise, rather than spending 3-600 "as seen" in the classified ads.

One possible contact is Stokey Woodall who teaches "quick astro" and seems to always have some good used examples to sell on
