Anyone got any good advice about taking a 32' longkeel yacht drawing 4' into Lydney?

Not really, but he older hands at the club, say ferry gliding is the order of the day and do not overshoot as a real problem to motor back, I will be sure to watch a few enter, before I try on Saturday, /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

just have in mind that the old guys took sailing trows, much bigger than that, and with no engine into Lydney. their secret was to wait until cionditons were right.
