Many of you may not be aware of this development planned right alongside Cardiff Bay Yacht Club. The latest plan envisages 10 apartment blocks up to a height of 41 storeys (!!) which will completely alter the nature of the whole area, including potential major adverse effects on wind and sun at the YC and the adjacent bay. Anyone who wishes to look at the planning application (and object) can do so at the City Hall. The current application number is 07/01276/C. Not much time however...be quick.

PS - I believe the YC has made some representations, but the more individuals that express their views, the better. You might even like it! /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

Agree with your sentiments entirely but not sure you'll have much sucess, however, I hope you do (if you see what I mean)?

I think it's a ridiculous development, so much for it being a 'Sports Village', it's more like a town with a swimming pool. Cardiff Council should be ashamed of themselves if (and sadly I fear when) they approve it. The CBYC pontoon I'm on will likely become a wind tunnel if it's built /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

Is there a way of viewing the details online ? Getting into City Hall is nigh on impossible for me but I'd like to make some representation
