Dear All, I have only just noticed this forum down the list after seeing another post on one of the main forums!!

I have just posted on YM Scuttlebutt re: "South Wales Cruising" and my plans to move to Swansea/Cardiff. I dont want to double post so if you have any comments they'd be gratefully received there.

Great cruising area, need to work the tides but plenty of places to go either for day sailing or weekend breaks.
Suggest you purchase the Guide to the Bristol Channel published by the BCYA.£5. This will give you information on all the ports and harbours.

If your in Cardiff this weekend several yachts will be moored on mermaid quay as a Bristol Channel Yachting Association rally. If you wanted a chat about Bristol Channel sailing Im sure someone will be on hand .

We will be there definitely Saturday hopefully all weekend come aboard for a beer.

I will buy that guide.

I would love to come aboard for a beer but sadly not there this weekend.
