Anyone know if the Avon is a torrential torrent or is it fine to go up?

Looked ok at the weekend, call Bristol floating Harbour 01179031484 and they will give you some more info.

Cheers

Hi all.

I just looked on the Accuweather website and they've given a 44% of thunder and lightening for Sunday day with 60% chance with rain on Sunday evening.

That's good enough for me. We won't be going this year. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

Take care all,

If you wait for a good weather forecast you'll never go anywhere!
Sometimes I think that they are deliberately misleading so that they have the sea to themselves.
Don't remember Ellen saying 'looks like rain, perhaps we'll stay in port'

You're right. But Ellen's more manly than me. (Read into that what you will!)

The Avon up to Bristol doesn't seem to have a problem, since it is tidal, and you will be going up on the flood.

The Avon is ok as far as Keynsham where there is a low (well low now) bridge.
