Ships in the Channel

Spotted 2 British Registered ships off Barry yesterday. The Trinity House Vessel "Patricia" Which has been in the channel servicing the buoys and the Cable Ship "Sovereign" . The Sovereign has a defaced blue ensign of some sort. All Trinity house vessels have a special defaced red ensign.

If you look on top of the Sovereigns Lifeboats theres a guy perched up there powerwashing the boats. You would need a good head for heights even though he was wearing a fall arrest harness.

If this was taken around HW on Monday evening, we were motoring into Barry and had just altered course to give way to the "Patricia" - Master gave us a wave (friendly) from the bridge wing. Did you snap us as well?

Didnt see you Don. The Patricia was doing different buoys all day ,we must have just missed you.

If you managed to get a few shots of the cutters on Sunday plus of course the fine boat on the starting line. Could you put a few on the Forum
