Azores flight info

Anybody worked out the best way to get SWMBO or other persons out to the Azores for a holiday??

My understanding is that you have to go to Portugal first, then connect to Azores from there. Not the cheapest. Perhaps she should get a boat too. :-)

Sorry, didnt fully work. Put in London LHR to Lajes airport and it brings up flights, costs etc.

This is my dads log on and he is entering the race. I am going to fly out and meet him there. I have gone for as cheap as possible - (i`m not long out of university!) I booked a flight from bristol to Lisbon on easy jet website for £25 one way. I have then managed to get a return (you have to have a return for the azores) to terceira for £175 all in one day. Everything for £200!!
