Bill Howell and Frank McNulty in Wanderer II

Would anyboady know if there was a book written of their voyage to Seattle via Fiji in Wanderer II post Hiscock's ownership?

I don't believe so, which is a pity.

Bill was my dentist for many years: we often chatted about sailing (well, he talked, I tried to make agreeing noises while he chipped away). He and Frank sailed Wanderer II to the Society Islands, financed along the way by Bill's dentistry (1 extraction, 1 dollar, or 3 for 2!), then Bill sailed her to Seattle via Hawaii single-handed. He was later a regular multihull competitor in the OSTAR.
Sadly, he passed away suddenly about 5 or 6 years back: a true gentleman, and an absolute charmer with the ladies!.
