Anyone up for a pint? It will have to be virtual for me as I'm away on business, but knowing what you lot are like, thought I better organise one for may /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif
So, the usual place (http://www.rossfell.co.uk/~rickp/pub.html) at 8pm.
It has been suggested (by the pub) that they can better manage food delivery times if you give them a call before hand with your order. They won't turn you down if you don't though - so up to you. The pub website (http://www.dogandduck.net/) has their phone number and menus on.
Cheers,
Rick

Chaps, I will have to gracefully decline on this occasion, with apologies. See you at the next one, with a bit of luck.
Cheers
Jimmy
Hope to make it this time!! Although likely to be a bit on the late side
I suppose you enjoyed the boating so much last week, you have decided to do it again this week!! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I heard from Derek today, he was in a rush, following a routine eye test the specialist found that he had a detached retina and he went into hospital this afternoon for an operation.
This evening, we heard from Helen and all went well, he won't be looking out the window for a while but let's hope he makes a speedy recovery.
BTW, He won't be able to come on Wednesday. /forums/images/graemlins/ooo.gif
Probably OK for the next one though. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif
Gang
Not going to be able to make this one I have an evening demo in the diary.
Apologies.
Oh dear! Hope he recovers well. Friend of ours had the same thing and she's made a fine recovery - and as you know SWMBO has similar problems last year.
Will it affect his grand plans for the bank holiday?
Pass on our regards when you next speak to him.
Rick
Pass on best wishes from this side of Wokingham too.
Hope recovery is quick.

Looks like I might have to duck out too.
Off work today with the lurgie and really not feeling anywhere near 100%
Hi Rick and Adrian,
I'm sure he'll see your regards here fairly soon. The treatment involved a gas bubble and he has been instructed to stay in almost a fixed position for five days to allow the reconnection process to work.
We heard from Helen since and it all appears to have gone well, but I'm not sure yet whether he can 'see out of the window yet.' I'm pretty sure it will affect short term boating plans but you'll have to ask the man himself, probably next week.
The ol' pub meet was a miss for me too, I didn't finish work until nearly 9:00 so I could go either, maybe in June? /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif
Talk soon you guys, hope you feel better later Jez.
I too hope that he makes a full and swift recovery.
You didn't miss much last night - when I got there at about 8, there was no-one else there.....talk about Billy no-mates! /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

Best wishes to Derek from the Brighton part of Wokingham too.
The moral of this story appears to be that without Rick, we are nothing...!
Cheers
Jimmy
Morals? /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif
Just shows boating can be a team game. Sorry you were on your own Peter, hope to make the next one.
