propellor / trim tab / rudder antifouling

I have a 46' motor yacht with top speed of around 30+ knots, after hauling out this year I noticed a lot of small barnacles on the rudders (brass) trim tabs (stainless steel with plastic covered legs) shafts (stainless steel) and props (brass).

I use International products on the GRP hull and I want to stop them attaching themselves to my sterngear, bearing in mind the speed (and therefore abrasion with the water) what can I coat each item with to keep them 'clean'?

Radioactive waste seems to do wonders!

One does'nt usually paint these extremities, partly, I believe, because it's difficult to get any antifouling to stick to props and shafts due to high speed.

No reason why you shouldn't antifoul rudders, P brackets and trim tabs.

Incidentally, I think you may find the "brass" bits are actually a "bronze" alloy!
