I've spent the last hour digging through the BBC website, trying to find the frequencies and program schedules that the Beeb broadcasts on SSB/HF radio, all to no avail. Can anyone point me in the right direction please.

TIA

In plain language - can you tell me what frequency & schedule to pick up BBC World service in Greece. The above website misses out southern europe altogether.

Thanks

That's probably because the BBC has ceased normal SW transmission of the World Service to southern Europe, part of the continuing rundown of services to many areas of the world. In an effort to justify that they claim that everyone has other reception possibilities, such as internet, cable, local FM, etc. In reality, they probably have complaints from the media agencies that buy their feed and re-sell on cable outlets, for supplying a freely obtainable alternative.
