How Many boats

Hi

I'm a newcomer to this forum but am enjoying the racing (down about 60000th) but it's the taking part that counts (Yeh, Yeh).

What I want to know is how many people are now playing. I have scoured the site but cannot find a figure anywhere although I'm sure it used to appear.

depends which game: for SOL you have to register for each leg so the total playing is real; I think the figure being stated by VOR is cumulative so impossible to readily calculate the number of active players

SOL is around 1500 boats playing ... more register, but quite a few drop out on course ....
