Flippin' 'eck !! I'd given up hope ........ told HWMBO that we were the only ones in Greater Manchester!

We're in Swinton, I work just near the Quays in Salford.

Anyone else out there ???? Go on ........ you know you want to!

I work in Warrington, which is Manchester-ish. I can see it on a clear day. The only thing nautical around here is the Mailspeed mail order chandlers judt down the road.

Been off the boards for a while due to a lack of a PC with internet. Had to do some work!

Glad to hear from some others in the North ........ but can't believe there is no one out there who fancies a pub meet.

I'm not a mad woman with an axe (well not this week) - will bring HWMBO along.

I have been known to venture into the odd hostelry - just occasionally, rarely more than once a day...

Generally stick within non-driving range, though - no SWMBO, so can't even take turns at not driving.
