RD68 Handset

Does anyone have the dimensions (l x w x h) of a hand set (not fist mike) for a Simrad RD68 DSC VHF. I'm considering purchasing one, but need to confirm it will fit in space available.

Prices have come down on them but I would buy something newer like the Icom 421.

the RD68 had or has too many problems stil even today and as they are phasing it out they have dropped the price.

I already have an RD68 installed, and intended adding a telephone hand set in place of the fist mike.

The handset base is 2 3/4 x 8 1/2 (inches) and with the handset in place is 2 ins high.
