I got a couple of 12 volt units from Bull lectrical in Henfield Sussex
try here http://www.bullnet.co.uk/shops/test/inverter.htm not sure about 24 volt units but must be worth a call
Thanks for reply.......only do 12v it seems......
2.5 - 3KW. That's mega big!
Even from 24V 2.5KW would draw 104A from your batteries. Hope you've got very big batteries, we're talking starter motor currents here.
The biggest inverters I've seen are 1500W continuous. Marlec supply some Pure sine wave & modified sine wave models. The leaflet I picked up at the London show last week only shows 12V models but I think they can get 24V ones.
If you're only using low wattage most of the time & just want big watts periodically the a big inverter is not the best choice. Big inverters tend to have high quiescent currents and are very inefficient under low load conditions.
You'd probably be better off with a gene. /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif
If still needed I can get you a Powermaster 3000W pure sine wave 24V inverter with 3 stage battery charger and solar panel adapter for £1250 brand new, email or call me on 01869 602091
