Hi following my post (zero to hero), bignick has suggested to me to ask all you skippers out there, if any one would be prepared to offer me a chance to sail with them to cherbourg and back, you would find me very willing to learn, and this would also answer one of my concerns, that being is it for me Tom

Regret my little boat is full.

Sailing school recommendation, Southern (http://www.southern.co.uk/).

They're sailing nuts first and businessmen second, which is the opposite way round to most operations. And their boats aren't very shiny.

Hi Tom

I've tried to PM you but the system is not letting me. THanks for the PM. You're welcome along. Where are you based? It would make sense to go for a little day sail beforehand just so you familiarise yourself with the boat and also decide if you can tolerate up to 20 hours with me. If it was just the two of us, I would suggest breaking the trip in St Peter Port for a night, but we can just play it by ear depending on conditions. Can you PM me again with some more details so I can give you a call.

Regards

Alex

Per my e-mail to you, I can't reply to your PM's. You might need to check you preferences under User Options.
