View Full Version : Is it worth a divorce?
I have been offered a pass to attend rather than accompany SWMBO to her best friends' emigration party - however it comes with a significant risk of divorce.

What are you, a man or a handbag?
someone gave me some advice years ago...
"find someone you hate and buy them a f******g house"
Oh don't i wish i'd taken their advice now... i'd have saved myself 20 years!!!
(she's not having half my boats either... even if they are usually on the bottom!!!)
steve
It is settled - I am a handbag.
I was neatly outmanoevred Friday by a 2 pronged defence;-
1. As you aren't going to be using the boat next weekend why don't we go down tonight?
2. I have volunteered you to do the catering for the party next week.
Have a great trip everyone...... /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

Wuss
you are of course correct - the only way to handle this was as last time; and that worked!
this whole concept of discussing things you actually intend to do anyway simple gives the other party the opportunity to marshall thier thoughts and resources and escalate the stakes.... /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif
