I think an effort should be made to ensure that next years event is not only open to sailors wanting a fab w/e. The trip should be comfortable and suitable for a wide range of tastes including but not exclusive to:

- Selfridge makeup assistants
- Italian politicians
- Latin American beauty contestants
- Polo ponies (these can be very sensitive)
- Tony and Cherie (kids???)

Good idea, and we could all help Anglo-French relations by each grabbing a local old biddy and spiriting them back to the Solent a la Sail 8 fiasco/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

How about Pottery pier off Brownsea Island with Shipstal Point as an alternative if the wind is in the wrong direction /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif
