Does anyone liveaboard in the Med with a dog? What are the problems of leaving it on the boat alone, are there any facilities anywhere for dog minding if needed? Do any marinas ban them? Any experiences gratefully received.

No problems with dogs living onboard, that I have found, asl ong as you don't let the dog foul or pee on the pontoons or around the marina, there doesnt seem to be a problem. But if the dog is left onboard and barks all the time, you will become very unpopular very quickly. Sorry, I don't know of any dog minding services, but most of the time, if the dog is pleasant and lieable, somebody can normally be found to feed and walk him/her for a day or two.
