Does anyone know where I can get one of these? Just a compact bit of kit which will seal food, spares (eg filters) until needed, and meaning less space wasted?

If it's of any use I have seen these products advertised regularly on US. TV. If you have a friend there or one going then problem solved, maybe

The problem is that these can be very, very, very tempramental bits of kit. They don't like damp conditions or swings in temperature. Also the more affordable domestic models have a nasty habit of faulty seals that you can;t idenfify until the perhaps once edible contents go green and mushy!
