Just finnished putting the main cabin together so for the first time ever she looks like a proper cruising yacht. I just sat there today lost in wonder at the sun glinting on the polished metal work and admiring the curtains and carpets - yes fitted carpet on a boat, never had that before! Only thing left to do in there are the berth cusions. Still have to hook up and commission the electronics but they are all fitted just needed plugging in, there are verious bits on deck, the shower to fit and some reorganising in the aft cabin but all essentials complete and she is about is fit for sea. Moving out to a river mooring on Wed and should be out sailing every weekend working the baot up ready for the trip to Brittany in June. Well done. Now all you have to do is bin the tv, stop buying newspapers and tune your radio to a permanent music only station..then you've cracked it. By the way, does Jimmy Greaves still play for Chelsea?

Now we're talking, Fanny Barnett, dark green with red name on tank, raw power, my first love. Just get home before dark 'cos the headlamp was about 3 candle power!

Raw power, isn't something I seem to remember........good smog generators though!.....along with the likes of Ariel Arrows and Leaders.........I had an Excelsior once, twin port exhaust and stick shift on the side of the tank......
Ah those were the days, when men were men, and women.....
