I posted recently re a potential problem with our MT 400 GME Epirb. there appears to be small cracks appearing in the casing - one deep enough to catch the finger nail. - all are around 1 inch below the casing screws. I was contacted by GME (Australia) today with a kind offer of a new MT 403 shipped immediately to our boat in Spain free of charge. They are obviously concerned and want the old beacon back to examine - they are arranging getting it shipped to Aus. The beacon is 3 years old now and obviously out of warranty.
Truly excellent customer service and rapid response.. well done GME.

Yes, Obviously I contacted them by email with pics at the same time I posted here.
Terrific. It gives you a warm sort of wobbly feeling when companies resond rapidly and couteously with a solution.
