I'm researching for a liveaboard and an Aussie friend recommended Tayana, built in Taiwan and designed specifically for blue water sailing. The builders don't seem to have a web site. I have found a few brokers in the States who haven't answered e-mails, but the photos look great and the price is definitely right. Does anyone know about these boats? ie Are there any agents in Europe, could they come with a CE mark, has anyone sailed on one? Any info most appreciated.

Thanks Tony, the owners group site was a great help and I am in touch with a few dealers, unfortunately the nearest is on the US west coast.

Hi, We have a Tayana 37 which we purchased on the east coast USA in 1995. Great Boat. Very strong and seaworthy. We've done 2 Atlantic's and are currently in Trinidad. See our website which has lots of info and pictures. www.yachtoasis.com Graham
