Based on the 3/4 tonner hull design.... and with a few unusual features... the engine was WAAAAAAYYYY forward..... forward of the mast base!.....

I believe the Ragtime you refer to is probably a Sadler 32 owned until a few months ago by the recently deceased John Old who lived aboard in the Marina at Ayamonte. If so I also believe the new owner to be Spanish but do not know where he keeps the boat.
