SWMBO is well into it as someone always has a party Saturday night, last year we left Ramsgit at about 10.00am and although we had six others on board I was all alone until we were back in the Medway, when some excuses for human beings began to appear. So if you reckon you and your mates can take us on (not me, I don't drink) come on down. One of the others makes the most explosive cocktails in the world, they finished Cheryl off, which takes some doing! Ooo, and there's fireworks too, and I think some boats race at some time.

Go Friday back Sunday. Its about 40 miles from Sheerness and no you don't have to book. Suggest catching the ebb tide from Sheerness as this will give you a knot or two and you can access Ramsgit at any time (they were dredging last time we were there).

If you time it right it'll take you all the way to North Foreland, then the incoming tide will give you a nudge down to Ramsgit. Just watch out for a north easterly, not so nice. Oh yes, give Ramsgate port control a call from North Foreland ish and check whats out practising! You don't want to cause a kerfuffle when your high speed machine ploughs right through the racers!
