Just to keep the pot boiling... for many many years every communication from merchant shipping came through a radio station located in the Bristol Channel what was it called?

On the Radio station theme. If making a ship to shore telephone call in this area before the service was scrapped which radio station did you call and what did you have to do to ensure you got them to answer?
