Out in Cardiff Bay yesterday and there are loads of dead fish floatind round....why?

It was the same last weekend, probably more of them than this weekend. The pontoons are covered in bits of them as well, kicked 4 or 5 off as we put the boat back in yesterday.

Some one mentioned the airation device had been tured off while they work on the pumps,dont know though,could be a spill upstream,we noticed last saturday night the water had bright green bubbles near our boat.

Spoke to one opf the guys picking them up with nets and rubber gloves,apparently its one species that is getting a fungal infection whatever that is.

The fish seem to have stopped going belly up now.I heard someone say it was "breeding stress " that killed them.
Not a bad way to go I suppose.
