Renewal time. Who's good for very old boat insurance, then?

I tried all the specialist insurers and then found Navigators General was half the previous best offer.

Presently with Navigators and General (Zurich Group - so German also). Mine is running out too so I have been looking.
Simon Winter quoted £40 more than NG but it covers single-handed (any amount day or night),European waters, 5 days skippered charter, no set marina base, flexible liftout extension in September - all of which are "extras" on the NG package.

Have you tried Armada - they do the scheme for the CMBA (Classic Motor Boat Association).

I went with Simon Winter, as he had a very competitive and flexible policy, plus a very mature attitude to singlehanding and season extension. Of course, I've not had to make a claim...
