Getting the standing rigging to suit was a tad tricky.
wonderfull how many pixels modern digital cameras deal with... How fast they process the image might be important too!

Er- what sort of a jib? any idea of dimensions? Lovely to see another smack out on the water again. You'll have to bring her up the East Coast to visit all her relatives!

funding for new sails shoud be avail in 2007... so looking for anything S/H to blow me about
Absoloute max luff 41ft I guess about 29ft leech Up to 18ft of bowsprit past the stem so something around 18 to 20ft Foot
hoping to make a topmast in the spring, so a topsail will be wanted
I have a reasonable main... and a choice of staysails

Russell, have got a jib that will possibly do. I'll check out the sizes. About 37 Luff ish, Area about 200 sq ft . Never hoisted it .Duradon,white(a little dirty) was a No 1 Jib from 36 ft smack. About 15 yrs old. Little used.

Transcur. Jib sounds like a good possability. Let me know the dims when you get time. I am hoping to be going through your neck of the woods at some point in the next few weeks. ( no idea exactly when) Got to have a look at a few ole boats up the East coast.... and return a mainsail that was very kindly lent to me for last season. perhaps i could drop in and see what the jib you have is like?
